We encourage the development of Laurentides business communities by directly assisting this region’s businesses and organizations with their projects.

Overview of the region

Southern Laurentides is characterized by commercial and industrial development driven by urban sprawl in the Montréal area and strong population growth. It includes businesses operating in traditional sectors like metal products manufacturing, transportation equipment and agri-food as well as businesses active in technology sectors like aerospace and life sciences.

In the northern part of Laurentides, the main economic activities are forest products processing and tourism.
